ivWatch, LLC develops medical devices that continuously monitor patients to aid in the early detection of intravenous (IV) infiltration and extravasation events. Our technology uses a non-invasive sensor placed near the IV site and communicates with a portable patient monitor. The concept for ivWatch originated in 1999 and the technology has been advancing over the course of 14 years with multiple generations of investigational devices in a variety of clinical settings. Our mission is to wipe out patient harm associated with adverse events in IV therapy and our leading scientists, engineers and clinicians are working tirelessly to achieve this goal. The first of our products is now going through the regulatory process for market clearance.
