Virginia Bioscience Commercialization Luncheon- April 2023

Center for Breakthrough Medicines:  A CDMO organized to save lives by accelerating the development and manufacturing of Advanced Therapies.

The talk will describe the general organization of the Center for Breakthrough Medicines and its operations. It will detail how the organization has key features that have been purposefully designed to add efficiencies to the overall process of developing and bulk manufacturing of gene and cell therapies.

Curtis Alexander is a Director of Business Development at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines. Curtis obtained his Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees from North Carolina State University in Molecular Biology & Genetic Engineering. Over the years, Curtis has ran basic research labs at organizations such as GSK and have worked in increasing levels of responsibility on the commercial side of the biotech/life science industry.
