The LYCRA Company LLC

The LYCRA Company is a result of a January 31, 2019 transaction led by Shandong Ruyi Investment Holding (Ruyi) to acquire INVISTA’s Apparel & Advanced Textiles (A&AT) business. The enterprise was established as The LYCRA Company, an independent subsidiary of Ruyi Group. The acquisition included all associated assets, employees, intellectual property, and contracts of the A&AT business. In June 2022, creditors of the direct shareholder parent Ruyi Textile and Fashion International Group Limited completed an enforcement action to transfer 100% of equity ownership to the creditor group. This action resulted from loan defaults associated with the original 2019 transaction. The new owners are investment firms comprising of Lindeman Asia, Lindeman Partners Asset Management, Tor Investment Management, and China Everbright Limited. The new owners fully support The LYCRA Company management team and their growth strategy and the company continues to operate independently and support its own operating cash needs. It is business as usual for the company and its customers and suppliers.
